On May 29, Popular Democracy (@popdemoc) abruptly announced a massive restructuring, including the lay off of 21 workers, effective mid-July.
Twelve laid-off staff belong to our union, including some of Popular Democracyโs most experienced and longtime staff members.

Iโve seen the horrific video of another fatal ICE shooting. Itโs clear that ICE agents are doing more harm than good in Minneapolis. Time for reforms. ย They arenโt effectively doing their jobs or keeping Americans safe โ they are endangering people.
