I’m a volunteer with a search-and-rescue dog team myself, so I know firsthand what incredible work these dogs do and how they can literally mean the difference between finding victims in time or too late. For dog handlers, training and working with these dogs isn’t just a job - it’s a whole lifestyle. In the interview you’ll hear how the trainers work, how dogs are screened, which ones are best suited for rescue work, and much more. Oh, and if you’re able to, please send a donation.
