Elianne's family have been left completely bereft, their shining star cruelly taken and their lives forever changed. The way the local community have banded together to support the family and each other is heartening. Humbled to have joined them today in grief and solidarity.

Today I met with youth workers, young people & the police following the tragedy in Croydon to talk about ongoing work to tackle violence.
It was a really difficult conversation for everyone, but an essential one as we move forwards with tough and decisive action.
