What a superb day yesterday. As part of @OriginalGCG annual seminar, I went walking in the footprints of giants - mainly Iguanadonts. Between Pett Level beach & Fairlight Cove, I observed dinosaur trackways, tail marks, bone beds, fossil wood and ripples. Thanks @hastings_museum

Yesterday I attended the annual seminar of the Geological Collections Group @OriginalGCG to learn about putting our collections to work. I presented a poster on the @DerbyUni collection with emphasis on our unique holistic approach to making our specimens accessible to students.
