everything that could've gone wrong on this new york trip has gone wrong. in the past 48 hours, @d4nielpark and I have: - scraped idea after idea, rebuilding our plan as we walk to our next spot - got caught in a thunderstorm, sprinting to CVS to buy umbrellas - planned to get our first video out yesterday, had to postpone it - walked 30 mins to our filming spot, only to find out it's closed - missed subways, taken wrong turns, and gotten lost yesterday, we got back to our hotel at 12am, looked at each other, both thinking "how has it only been 2 days". It's felt like ages. 48 hours of constant problem solving teaches you a lot about the person next to you. the one thing I learned about daniel is that he doesn't flinch at anything. every setback, we pivot, figure out a solution, and deal with it head on. I feel like we're on the cusp of our best work yet :)
