If EACC were to raid my home, this is what they will find. I work for every single cent I earn! Beyond taxes, I still contribute in cash kind to build public institutions. What happened to honest, hard working, principled altruistic Kenyans? Kshs 63m under the bed? No!
Today is one of the saddest day in my life. I never imagined that this would happen in my alma mater. There is a sense of desperation, hopelessness and helplessness in the country. Even those who went to Alliance or are in Alliance are not immune to this situation.
It is only last week when we spoke with the Principal on plans to ensure fire safety response in all the buildings in the school. We were to visit the school next week to start this work. Then this! Very sad indeed. But it is a TRUE REFLECTION ON THE STATE OF THE NATION.

Policy and governance expert Prof. Alfred Omenya has warned that overcrowding and poor infrastructure in schools could lead to tragedies, saying student numbers often rise beyond dormitory capacity whenever new facilities are built, undermining safety measures.
He also questions the effectiveness of school safety committees and the absence or poor use of safety manuals in many institutions, calling for a nationwide audit of school facilities to ensure they meet basic safety standards

Life isn't about perfection. Without the cracks no light would come through, be it the cracking sacrament, or the body of Christ in Golgotha...That was the design philosophy of my second year architecture project as a student at UoN: A Design for a Catholic Church.
WHAT IS STUDIO? Places where Architecture is taught matters as much as the content. @KenyattaUni Architecture Programme will be opening its doors this year to the public to have a glimpse at SPACES PLACES FUTURE ISSUES in Kenya's architecture. More details shortly.
