I think I will give up. I have made a bunch of very interesting things over the last 6 months. But I cannot get any attention for them and don’t know how. My son is 4 and he deserves my time. I'm going to go and get a normal job. My time making things is over I think.

Youll forgot to mention it also comes with reactant.jl out of the box , so one can use GPUs and TPUs directly from julia ,
downside is setting up custom pkgs in colab is slow & no way to set up a reusable env so youre always precompiling packages which aren't in the default env

I sincerely do not understand how developers tolerate the Python tooling.
From installing Python, to installing dependencies, nothing works out of the box.
How can the Python community be satisfied with the status quo? Is it Stockholm syndrome?

The reason I've never been able to use any open source library is that "you only need python, npm, node, yarn, make, ninja and ssh, but only some pecific versions, and then type these things in the command line like it's still the 90s, only they never work, fuck this shit".

it's the little things with #julialang REPL , you just go wow it works ,
today
`>return something` evaluates and doesn't error out .
which is wonderful when you are trying out things by copy pasting from functions in editor to the REPL ,
in python this is a bug.
