when did AI psychosis get reinterpreted as "an overly enthusiastic view of AI"? the term was coined to refer to people who experience symptoms of real psychosis due to their interaction with AI like believing they've created a grand unified field theory even though they can't do highschool math

after the first Moon hotels open how long do you think it'll be before a flat earther tries to disprove the existence of space by jettisoning themselves from an airlock?

I dreamt I was buying antique wall sconces from an old Russian engineer in a quaint town by a lake in the mountains when everyone ran outside to hear an announcement of war being declared and then I saw burning fragments falling from the sky dropping out of the low clouds onto the forested valley slope where they started forest fires. I think I was paying with a 5000 ruble note and the announcement mentioned China. really weird dream, usually don’t get ones like this what mean?

somewhat amusing that the only thing that may get me to use Rust is being assured I will never have to write or read a single line of it thanks to AI

if you hadn't protested gigawatts of nuclear power then you wouldn't be protesting gigawatts of data centers now

when are professional authors going to start selling their services as custom system prompt writers? they have the skills needed to design the character, internal motivations, inner life and outward personality an AI should adhere to as well as the skill to describe it precisely

There's a common misconception that Brutalist buildings were unpainted, but thanks to microscopic analysis of the exteriors we can now recreate what they looked like in their prime.

AI code and art gen tools are probably good enough now that we can remaster old videogames so their art style actually matches the awesome cover art they used to have

perfect tool for getting different angle shots for videos works amazingly well for creating starting frames for making videos with Grok Imagine
This tool is insane. Upload any image. Move camera in 3D space. And get a completely new camera angle 🤯 Also it’s free! 👇

any job that can be done remotely can be done by an LLM a business can be staffed 100% by AI most will fail but if anyone can fund a new one for <$10k even a tiny survival rate is a threat to incumbent human operated businesses
