I just don't think this is true at scale. The people I know who are the heaviest LLM power users are also some of the hungriest in their pursuit of knowledge and competence.
The great crisis of our times is that millions have willingly thrown away their brains. They are using AI to summarize books & play video games for them. They’re enraged by any suggestion that it’s good to know things. It’s urgent that you resist the cratering of the intellect.
