A big divide in the LGBTQ community that doesnât get talked about enough in the mainstream but also clearly explains how the movement went off the rails is how older LGBTQ people wanted acceptance while younger LGBTQ people wanted to continue the counterculture, alt-lifestyle aspect of it all. Iâm not gay but itâs just clear as day this is the root of the issue.
