Royco Dawn has tranched autoUSD from Auto Finance.
@autopools is an automated liquidity management protocol that continuously rebalances assets across decentralized exchanges and lending markets, including Aave, Fluid, and Morpho.
The protocol has processed over $1.16B in total automated volume across 79 destinations.
The asset Royco Dawn tranches is autoUSD, Auto Finance's stablecoin autopool built on the ERC-4626 standard. Users deposit assets and receive a yield-bearing receipt token.
autoUSD operates through a solver-driven strategy system that evaluates blue-chip yield opportunities and rebalances dynamically within a robust framework of on-chain safeguards.
The autopool optimizes for yield. Dawn tranches risk. Senior depositors access autoUSD's multi-destination yield with a minimum Junior buffer absorbing drawdowns before they're affected at all times.
Junior depositors step into first-loss exposure in exchange for a premium as compensation for the risk they're actually taking on.
Optimized yield is one thing. Choosing how much risk comes with it is another. Dawn makes both possible.

Observation window routes all yield to Junior.
During the observation window, all yield generated by the underlying strategy flows to the Junior tranche to offset potential losses with amplified yield.
The multiplier depends on the tranche size ratio. In the current autoUSD market (from @autopools), Senior TVL is $940K and Junior TVL $147K.
That produces a 6.4x yield multiplier for Junior during observation, reducing realized losses.
The observation window delays loss execution and boosts Junior compensation while the protocol monitors for recovery.

Royco protects Senior and Junior tranche participants.
Senior tranche depositors sit behind Junior capital that absorbs losses first. Junior tranche participants get higher yield in exchange. That's standard tranching.
Royco adds observation windows on top. When an asset drawdown occurs, the protocol doesn't execute losses immediately. The system monitors whether the drawdown falls within normal volatility ranges.
If it does, Royco waits for price recovery before executing.
