I’m a pretty rational person. Some have said I’m nascar twitter’s voice of reason. That said I think anyone who voted no should be subject to Chinese water torture or perhaps even worse.
Starting off the 2026 season strong in Daytona! 🔥 Ryan Sieg brought the SciAps #39 home with an impressive 3rd-place finish 🏁

I realize you’re responding to Larry, but shouldn’t we let the animosity end? I would love to see us all positively move the sport forward with unity and grace.
“You’re wishing for NASCAR to go away.” No no. You misunderstand me. I just need Scrooge McDuck and his underlings to stop putting the sport through one mishap after another all in the name of making even more money. And if that takes His Airness and Ty Gibbs’ teammate to do so, then I firmly stand in their corner.
Nick Sanchez ran well in his rookie season with Big Machine Racing, and ends up getting dropped in mid December.
There is a possibility that Sanchez and Corey Heim are part-time in 2026…
Sponsorship runs NASCAR. I want talent to run it one day.
I don’t understand all the sentiment I’m seeing from many of the people who are “scared for the sport”.
You know what scares me? A corporate entity who has seized control at basically every avenue eventually phasing out the teams entirely and turning the sport into something unrecognizable that none of us want. Some would argue that they have already been steaming full speed towards that and the teams are the only thing keeping them engaged with some semblance of what we all enjoyed in the first place. The only way to fight that is by doing exactly what 23XI and FRM have done.
Maybe it’ll work. Maybe it won’t. But somebody had to do more than just sitting on the internet complaining about it all.
