Hear Cathi Herrod explain how the proposed abortion amendment goes too far for most Arizonans. It removes the doctor from the doctor-patient relationship, shuts out parents from their minor daughter's abortion decision, & legalizes abortion to birth azcentral.com/story/opinion/…
Arizonans are not radical abortion supporters like those at today’s press conference who called abortion “a blessing” and praised California-style abortion policy like that in the proposed Arizona #AbortionBallotMeasure
Read Below:
The proposed abortion ballot measure allows an unborn baby to be aborted at any stage of pregnancy, regardless of viability if the abortion provider - who stands to profit from it - signs off on the abortion.

If the fact that partially born babies can be aborted is not enough to repulse voters, there are plenty of other reasons to oppose the new proposed constitutional amendment making #abortion a new “fundamental right” in Arizona.

Well said. Thank you @RepBenToma
The measure would undo important safety precautions and prohibit laws protecting girls and women from being abused, as well as strip parents of their rights.
The measure not only allows abortion up to birth but forbids the state from shielding unborn babies from excruciating pain, dismemberment, or any other humane limitation. It quite literally is abortion on demand for any reason, at any stage of development, even partially born.
The abortion industry goes far beyond Roe with an inhumane ballot measure replete with intentionally vague language. The measure would enshrine painful partial-birth abortion into AZ’s constitution, while stripping away safety precautions for women.

The abortion industry’s effort to safeguard its business brings a new radical ballot measure to AZ, via outside money and special interests. These measures threaten parental rights, leaving parents out of their daughter’s most consequential decisions.

@ChristinePMarsh claimed that the Arizona legislature "can't wait to fix" the ESA program, but her own talking points are badly in need of repair. Let's take a look🧵/1 azcentral.com/story/opinion/…
