We are deeply disturbed at the wholly unjustified protest called for this morning outside a synagogue. We are calling on the police to ensure such protests are kept a significant distance from places of worship to prevent intimidation to members of the Jewish community.

I also saw my late father’s last car (he stopped driving a few years before his death). I remembered the marque & colour, & the reg aside from the numbers. Nothing special as a car, but it was a bit of a shock.

How to cook lamb shoulder really well, a cheaper cut than the prime ones usually folk tend to go for, do it well and it's better ,the fat and crackling to meat ratio is perfect for our pittas

13 June 1944 (D-Day 7) the first British Army nurses landed on Gold Beach in Normandy... "we landed & were sniped at by Germans. One of our doctors was killed & an orderly was shot & we had to amputate his leg at the side of the road.. everwhere was mined..Lots of dead bodies."

Le Mans and the #MilleMiglialive this weekend, & watching a bit of both when I can. The #1000Miglia is great to watch: no commentary, just the soundtrack provided by the cars. Lovely to watch almost everyone give the cars a wave & the drivers giving a toot in response.

🚁 The iconic Chinook ‘Bravo November’ will be on static display at this weekend’s RAF Cosford Air Show (Official) ! 🎉 👀 Here’s a little sneak peek of it leaving the Museum’s Conservation Centre and making its way down to Hangar 1, where the blades have been re-attached, before it was moved onto the Royal Air Force Cosford airfield ready for the weekend. 🔧🚁 ⭐ Exclusively for the Cosford Air Show, aviation fans can get on board the legendary Chinook ‘Bravo November’, for a small donation. 🙌 Known as ‘The Survivor’, Bravo November earned its reputation during the 1982 liberation of the Falkland Islands. After the MS Atlantic Conveyor was struck by a missile and later sank, Bravo November was the sole Chinook to survive, going on to play a crucial role in the conflict. 🚁💪 📍 Head to the Museum’s enclosure on the airfield to see Bravo November, alongside three NEW aircraft acquisitions 🆕✈️: British Aerospace Hawk T1A 🛩️ General Atomics MQ-9 Reaper 🎯 Westland Puma HC1 🚁 See you at Air Show!✈️🎉

Choose the King, indeed. As if. Forget your own pomp. Do your job. Meet, talk to your constituent. It’s been 4 years. That’s some 1400 days.
Replying to @RabbiZvi
We have a record of when she got in touch, when she wanted to see me and of the dates she was offered. Not awkward at all. But thank-you for your concern Rabbi.
