The chance of a tornado developing this evening has climbed in east-central Nebraska (Omaha/Council Bluffs/Lincoln/Wahoo). A quick look at our history suggests this is the highest forecast probability of a tornado in the Omaha area since June 2014. #NEwx #IAwx
A graphic shows the tornado threat in the area this evening from 4pm to 11pm. Graphic says the threat will develop first in Northeast Nebraska, develop into a line, and move southeast. A 15-29% chance of tornadoes will exist for much of east-central Nebraska. Some tornadoes may grow strong (EF2 ).
