Here's Brian Gutekunst saying he wouldn't be particularly interested in a player in the back half of their career. Points out Reggie White was in his 30's when he came to GB not NOT in the back half. White was All-Pro AP 1st or 2nd team every year. DPOY at 37.

Begin August 30th Labor Day weekend. Have 13 weeks of college football with one bye week for each team. Season finishes on Nov 22. No conference championship. Everyone gets Thanksgiving week off. 3 weeks of playoff games Skip Christmas week. Play the 1st. I like it.

The slide puts the qb (or any player) in danger by leaving his head up. It should be if you give yourself up it needs to be head first.

The NFL needs to remove sliding from the game. QBs are runners outside of the pocket and should have to protect themselves as such. Go down extremely early, or else it’s fair game.
