Believe the news. This is Faro airport just now. This is after baggage check in and security. This is passport control to enter international departure terminal. I came 3 hours before, and it’s still tight for time. @SimonCalder @Ryanair @easyJet @jet2tweets

Bristol. A city that’s captured its asset of a riverside destination city. A city bustling with creativity, willing to take a risk and embrace its old architecture. Glasgow could learn a lot from this place. As a lone traveller this weekend, I felt safe. A top city!

Would love to see your reaction if it was pulled from day time TV. I’m grateful it’s still on regular TV channels. I thought Yannick brought a bit of flare and excitement to it this year. Apart from the BBC Proms, what else like this is on regular TV. It’s a great thing.
Like the Eurovision Song Contest, the Vienna Phil New Years Day concert is beyond parody, too big to derail

Another Male Voice Choir bites the dust in Scotland. Another one is about to fold and Lanarkshire Male Voice Festival folded last year. What can we do about this? @MakingMusic_UK @MakingMusic_SC @CreativeScots

Costs associated with school trips can be anxiety inducing for families living on low incomes. Often children and young people who are experiencing poverty will feign lack of interest in a trip simply because they know that their families will struggle to afford the cost. #CPW24
