Enkele interessante cijfers uit een telewerk-enquête door de FOD Mobiliteit en Vervoer: ⁃31% van de Belgen werkt minstens 1 dag per week thuis.  ⁃Volgens de FOD werden er dankzij telewerk 34 miljoen kilometers per dag, waarvan 16 miljoen kilometers met de auto, vermeden. ⁃Brusselaars doen regelmatiger aan telewerk. 45 procent van de respondenten telewerkt minstens één dag per week, tegenover 26 procent van de Walen en 32 procent van de Vlamingen. Ook treinpendelaars zijn grote telewerkers. ⁃Hoe groter de woon-werkafstand, hoe meer werknemers meer dagen thuis werken.
