The messaging from officials looks like a response is imminent but that could also be a pressure tactic especially if Iran is convinced a ceasefire can get a withdrawal and permanent ceasefire in lebanon

You'd expect Israel to be rational and find an off ramp but netanyahu's PR and Israel's reputation are at stake here. They will escalate until it becomes unbearable for them or US joins, which will re-ignite regional war.

My take is that this is good for Iraqi Resistance in general if this improves their political position.
Just like lebanon has Amal, Iraqi resistance needs strong reliable and non armed political allies which cannot be easily targeted or sanctioned ( not saying it can't happen)

- We reject the American proposal that was sent to us hours ago through intermediaries, which stipulates that Hezbollah should stop its operations in exchange for Israel not bombing the southern suburbs.
