Ja pensei muito nisso, aqui em Portugal é comum ver amigos até mesmo de infância me interromperem só por que eu disse algo “errado” (nem sempre é).
Em contraste no Brasil eu sinto que eu posso chegar até a inventar palavras que a grande maioria tenta deduzir e seguir em frente.
Um ponto que acho o português do brasil mais popular é justamente o conforto em “errar” conjugações, não é necessário mais tanto preciosismo o que mantém a língua viva por isso turistas e estudantes podem se sentir mais à vontade com o nosso português do que com o de Portugal.

Eu acho que isso é consequência de um lugar bem maior, com mais variedade em educação. Talvez as pessoas falam errado com muita mais frequência, então quem escuta não estranha e tenta se adaptar.
Também pode ser que ficar corrigindo estranho no Brasil pode gerar mais conflito.
