Before everyone starts dunking on this guy, it's worth pointing out that there's a whole 'change management' industry based on this false premise.
What do people mean when they say Twitter is gonna shut down? Doesn’t it kinda run itself? I feel like engineers are for changes not to just keep it running? I also don’t know anything. Hey @elonmusk wanna do a Twitter space with me? Im confused.

Do you think Tesla employees encouraged Elon to buy Twitter so they could get on with work without his constant stream of 'suggestions'?

The Twitter acquisition will go down in the history books.

Wow. Elon Musk just told Twitter employees he’s not sure how much run rate the company has and “bankruptcy isn’t out of the question.”
Community note
This tweet inaccurately portrays what Elon Musk said in the meeting. While he did make reference to Twitter facing bankruptcy, it was in reference to long term spending while scaling the platform. Additionally, he did not state that he didn’t know how much run rate Twitter had. theverge.com/2022/11/10/234…

It’s pretty simple: Google Meet (original) was previously Meet, which was the rebranded Hangouts Meet. Meet has been merged with Google Duo, which replaced Google Hangouts. Google Duo has been renamed Meet, and Meet has been temporarily named Google Meet (original), for clarity

People quitting Twitter because they're mad Elon bought it are themselves doing what he'd do only in their most paranoid nightmares: purging Twitter of people who disagree with him.

Follow people that make you think. My whole young life was about learning things, and then following things that differed from what I thought, and then changing accordingly as I learned more. Whether it is me or others (feel free to disagree), follow people that make you think.

I spent some time last spring contemplating the utopian fantasy of how to build a quiet electric leaf blower. After making a few prototypes, I now believe that another world is possible. A world where the leaf blower's shrill whine has been transformed into a gentle whoosh.

A useful self-awareness exercise for ethical or political decision-making is to build an internal hierarchy of values or goals. That way, when some specific topics you care about conflict in some way, you have a process for evaluating and forming a conclusion.

Our friends @GridlessCompute doing some incredibly cool work monetizing micro-hydro plants in Kenya. They build these small hydro plants @ ~100KW which is much much more than the village needs. #Bitcoin #mining #Kenya #Africa #energy 1/3

This guy's complex financial modelling that he doesn't have time to explain tells him that a full moon with back to back eclipses is going to cause a market crash.
