When I was coming up, I got into hardcore because it felt dangerous and unpredictable. I had personal frustrations that I felt like I could only work through in rooms of such a nature. I don’t think “banana costume energy” would have kept me coming back, but that’s just me.

Some asshole wore a banana costume to an End It show in Toronto. The lead singer called the guy up to the stage & then called him an asshole & told everyone to rip his costume off lmao. It took like 30 seconds.
