We regret to inform you that our fellow referee Lewis Walters has sadly passed away! Lewis was a massive part of the BBDFL and always will be! We will all be holding a moment of remembrance for him next weekend!!! R.I.P Lewis 💔

We, as a league unanimously voted to postpone fixtures this weekend for the safety of our players, coaches and spectators!
PLEASE NOTE:
ALL MATCHES ARE OFF THIS WEEKEND DUE TO THE EXTREME COLD WEATHER
This decision has not been taken lightly and is for the welfare of all involved
This will be put on the league news pages later and sent out to all club secretaries in the league

I believe this would be a step in the right direction to help stop abuse!! Things need to change and ASAP @LancashireFA @Manchester_FA I really hope referees get more support from our football governing bodies otherwise we will have no referees left!!!!!!

We are absolutely disgusted to hear about the incident involving one of our referees, volunteers and friend. There is no place for this in football and I hope the football authorities and police deal with the accordingly! Speedy recovery bradders!
