The District is now taking applications for the Community Air Protection Incentives Program through Feb. 9! In the past this program has funded everything from electric school buses & forklifts to dust-busting paving projects to air filtration upgrades.

#LoaferDWR [update] One way we maximize the effectiveness of a broadcast burn is by creating piles of dead brush and timber within the burn area. By collecting the fuel into a pile, we get better consumption of the fuels than if they were just laying loose on the ground.
