Update: we killed $2 MILLION in ARR... ...on purpose. Let me explain. A few weeks ago, @Aftersell launched Earn & Save. The idea is simple: As Rokt Thanks creates more value for merchants, Aftersell gets cheaper. Dollar for dollar. If you earn $1 from Rokt Thanks, you keep it. Then we match it with $1 off your Aftersell bill. Earn $500 from Rokt Thanks? You get paid $500. Your Aftersell bill drops by $500. Earn more than your subscription costs? Your Aftersell subscription goes to $0. That means you get paid for Rokt Thanks AND run Aftersell for free. This is not a short-term promo. It’s the direction software is going. The best software should: 1. Pay for itself 2. Align with the value it creates 3. Eventually become free to use We’re pushing HARD toward #3. Our goal is simple: Aftersell should be free for as many merchants as possible. We’re already $2 MILLION ARR into that bet. Millions more to go.

1, Shopify has way more funnel flexibility than people give it credit for, especially when you configure PPU properly. I see this every day running @Aftersell The main gap is video, which we’re working on solving. Prechecked subscriptions / shipping protection are a different story. Too much legal and trust risk, so Shopify (and Aftersell) won’t support that. You can build a very real DR-style funnel on Shopify, you just need to know the tricks. That’s on us to make clearer in the product too. Dropping a full breakdown soon.

Most brands using Rokt Thanks make around $0.30 to $0.50 profit per order. But some brands are doing: 💵 $0.70/order 💰 $0.85/order 🤑 and even $1.00/order Why? 1. Placement You want TYP OSP covered at minimum. That’s the baseline. The bigger upside comes from expanding across every relevant post-purchase surface. 2. Advertiser coverage More advertiser demand = more yield. Keep as many verticals open as you can, and only block what’s actually competitive or off-brand. 3. Customer quality Higher-intent customers monetize better. Better traffic usually means higher payout per order. That is why two brands can turn on the exact same product and get very different results. -- If you want to improve performance, DM me your vertical and I’ll tell you where I’d push first to drive up profit per order.

Quarterly upgrades are absolutely PRINTING on post purchase upsells. We’re seeing double digit take rates on average. The fastest growing subscription brands are already running this play. We (@aftersell) also just launched native integrations with @SkioHQ, @LoopEngine, and @getrecharge, so it’s dead simple to set up. If you offer a subscription, A/B test this against your current funnel.
