Golden paths were built for human developers. One lane, clear rules. Then AI agents merged in at machine speed. No yield signs, no speed limit, no guardrails. My PlatformCon 2026 talk is about the traffic laws we forgot to write. Free virtual, Jun 22-26 platformcon.com

Your platform team is your AI team. They just haven’t been told yet. Approving model deployments. Writing the AUP. Getting paged when agents go sideways. Roundtable tomorrow at #GoogleCloudNext with @SamBarlien. A few seats left. Bring your war stories. (link in thread)

Asked @jitterted what truth about TDD the industry isn't ready to hear. "That it's a faster way to develop. Faster, less code." His warning: "Unless you've tried it, you don't believe me. You're crazy talk." youtube.com/shorts/2rM8hyxD2…

A viral post tried to kill AI coding with a "collapsing house" analogy. It proved the opposite point. Home Depot didn't create chaos by democratizing construction. They built a $775B market by letting people fix leaky faucets without waiting 3 weeks for a contractor. Same thing's happening with AI coding. Most people aren't building payment systems, they're automating Excel reports stuck in IT backlogs since 2016. It's when organizations refuse proper frameworks, then act shocked when someone builds mission-critical stuff over the weekend, that we see issues. What's your "ceiling fan zone" with AI tools? coder.com/blog/deconstructin… #vibecoding #SoftwareEngineering #developer
