Items found as part of an Operation Nightingale dig at @RAFValley have officially been declared as treasure!
The bridle-bit and terret ring used in a Celtic chariot will put on display at Oriel Mon, on Anglesey, in 2026.

Parts of a Celtic chariot discovered by military personnel and veterans at RAF Valley have been declared treasure.
A bridle-bit and terret ring, used to guide a horseâs reins, were found during an archaeological dig at the station.

An #OpNightingale dig, run by DIO's @richardhosgood has uncovered the history of the site's links to #DDay.
Teams excavated the site where the US Army's 506th Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division was based - including Easy Company.
