It’s been so lovely here today. The isle at its finest in autumn light.

It seems fitting that, in this, the 70th anniversary year of the publication of #LucyMBoston's 'The Children of #GreenKnowe,' the garden should be flooded. Photographs by Kate Boston.

Unpopular opinion: people taking full sized bikes on trains should not board first- blocking the through ways for other passengers.

Absolutely beautiful reading from Ian Clarke at last night’s @FenSpeak - bringing the fen to us in delicious phrase and really evocative imagery. Thanks Ian for swapping with me. (Staying On is published by Vole Books, an imprint of Dempsey and Windle.)

I have finally ventured into writing about something I never thought I would find words to do. It’s very personal to me. And quite alarming to find myself doing. Because as much as I needed to do it for myself, I don’t know what others will think of it.

The wonder of the internet is that you can research *anything*. Which means that if you're popping on Twitter to misgender Imane Khelif, when five minutes research would educate you, it's because you WANT to. In which case, stop drinking the Kool Aid and give your head a wobble.

2 types of people: 'I suffered, so I feel no one else should suffer.' 'I suffered, so I feel others should suffer too.' The 2nd lot appear to have a larger voting base.

Desperate plea: IF YOU NEED YOUR WIPERS ON - YOU NEED YOUR HEADLIGHTS ON!!! Travelling in the M6/M42/M5 region today in terrible rain and a LOT of people do not have them on. It’s really scary. @NationalHways @HighwaysWMIDS

So @TheGreenParty now have 4 seats - as many as the revolting Reform party are forecast to get. So why in god’s name is @BBCNews rabbiting on about Reform still and not talking about extraordinary Green performance??
