Your regular reminder that microservices are typically *not* containers in C4. Much of the confusion comes from (1) terminology (what is a "microservice"?) and (2) team boundaries/Conway's Law/code ownership/repo boundaries.

Some people are assimilating the risks associated with pandemics with the risks associated with AI progress.
There is a fundamental difference.
Pandemics are natural phenomena.
We can take preventive measures before they happen and plan for corrective measures in case they do.
AI progress is not a natural phenomenon.
*We* propel it forward. We have agency.
We can choose to develop it or not.
We can strive to develop beneficial forms of it.
And we can choose to deploy it only if it is beneficial.
Comparing the two is total nonsense.

Criminals like #Play see the smoke, they know there must be fire, a wrong attitude towards HTTP security headers and generally a lack of security awareness by companies like #Xplain.

Confesion: I still can't write more advanced SQL queries. Just the simple ones.
Why?
Because I've never needed it before and don't need it now. I just use ORM, and I'm happy.
Where do you write some complex SQL queries by hand? What's the use-case? A LOT of data?

ChatGPT is the modern version of Flaubert's "Dictionary of Received Ideas" (Dictionnaire des idées reçues), that is, a powerful cliché parroting engine.
And, as they say in trading: "what most people know isn't worth knowing."

2. Godfather of AI Quit Google
Geoffrey Hinton, who has been publishing about AI since 1972, was known as the 'Godfather of AI'.
He helped neural networks succeed when mainstream AI preferred the reasoning approach.

So, $paceX launched its big rocket in a nature reserve. After the failed (it's a failure if you blow up the launch pad and the flight abort system fails) launch as of yet unknown particles rained down in a town 10km away (tpr.org/technology-entrepren…) but it gets worse.
