Lakeside Middle students enjoyed a visit from special guest, Nate Adams, a former air traffic controller who worked on the historic Apollo 11 mission in 1969. Mr. Adams' visit was part of the ELA curriculum's exploration of the inspiring story of Hidden Figures, STEM research, and the importance of perspective. His talk provided students with invaluable insights into the world of @NASA and the incredible teamwork that made the Apollo 11 mission possible.
