In addition to @carloprina ās comment the BMA is misguided in their reason for not sharing data for ā.. health service planning carried out by government agencies or local NHS organisationsā .. how else should care allocation be planned?
I hope you can robustly ensure this is not misinterpreted as a barrier to sharing data across shared care records with secondary care- an innovation which has prevented harm on many occasions that I have seen myself including repeated investigation or incorrect treatment
Furthermore had asthma data been shared by GPs years ago, (and acted upon by the NHS), when I was Data lead for the NHSE asthma transformation programme ⦠we may not be seeing the tragic preventable child asthma deaths every month in England today!!
