This one skill has underrated importance for working in the music industry: Being resourceful! I've been working in the music industry for 12 years and I swear being resourceful can get you soooo far (besides being nice and treating people the way you want to be treated). Figuring out the answer when you don't have it. Being curious. Asking questions. Being the person who always figures out a way to get it done has massive dividends as opposed to the person who makes excuses. There is always a way...and if there isn't, presenting other options as alternative solutions is the way to go.
