One of the most successful coaches in NHL history just snapped the longest playoff drought in NA sports btw. Hilarious sport.
IT’S ABOUT TIME 👏 Jon Cooper is your 2026 Jack Adams Award Winner!

The Bills liked him so much that the GM lied about not having any 1st round grades remaining and passed on two opportunities to select him. Hilarious stuff guys.
.@RichCimini explained to @JakeAsman & @BrandonTierney that the #Jets traded up to pick No. 30 for WR Omar Cooper Jr because they had intel that the #Bills were going to take him at pick No. 31: 👀 ‘They anticipated that. That was their intel. It’s funny how as soon as they traded up & took him, Buffalo traded out.’ Cimini revealed that Cooper was ‘rated very close to [Kenyon] Sadiq on their draft board’ who NYJ took with pick No. 16. #JetUp #NFLDraft FULL SHOW: youtube.com/live/9a9QyJepJ-A…

Having a good/capable Nose Tackle isn’t purely about size. It doesn’t have to a mountain of a dude. Skillset & play style matter. Do certain physical aspects translate better to that role? Yes. But that’s not all that matters Deone Walker is literally an in-house example of size not necessarily representing what an IDL is. Walker is huge, and by size or weight classifications would be a “plugger”. But he’s not that, he plays more of a finesse/penetration style. That being said, it would have been nice to see the Bills add a run defense based plugger/displacement mitigator role at some point this offseason into their IDL rotation. It’d still be nice if they did that

This is the right spot for Kilgore. Great athlete, but it’s pretty obvious how much better he uses his athleticism when he’s allowed to roam freely.
"He's a Safety first." "That's where he'll transition to." - #Bills GM Brandon Beane confirms Jalon Kilgore's position in Buffalo. #BillsMafia

The best case scenario for TJ Parker is he outplays and replaces the guy we just paid big money. The best case scenario for Davison Igbinosun is he outplays and replaces the guy we spent a first round pick on last year.

The Jets become the first team in NFL history to select a TE in the first and second round in consecutive drafts with their selection of Kenyon Sadiq and Mason Taylor. They are also mentally challenged.

With the No. 16 overall pick in the 2026 @NFLDraft, the @nyjets select Kenyon Sadiq. @NewEraCap NFL Draft on NFLN/ESPN/ABC Stream on @NFLPlus

Houston makes the most expensive trade up of the night, paying 7% above my historical benchmark to move up two picks.

Adofo-Mensah. The former GM of the Vikings was fired in February. Even though it wasn’t cited as a reason for his dismissal, pundits brought up him taking two weeks off paternity leave in 2023 for the delivery of his child. Many people justified it because of “football culture.” Mike Vrabel cheats on his wife with a journalist. Decides to wait to “talk to his team first” and is being called a leader with the right priorities. Weird response. One gets a bad rap for being a good father and husband. The other gets an excuse while being a terrible husband and example. 🤦🏽‍♂️
#Patriots HC Mike Vrabel said he’s had difficult conversations with family and those close to him, and wanted to speak with players first before addressing the media — which is why he waited until today. His full statement is below, via @kstone06:

Buffalo hasn't made the playoffs since 2011... but • they were the largest U.S. market for the 2026 Olympic Gold Medal Game • In 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2022, 2023, 2024 Stanley Cup Finals they were the largest local viewership from a neutral market • In 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019 they were the 3rd largest local viewership of any U.S. city for the complete postseason • Game 1 tickets this year were $464 USD on average, the most of any team in the NHL • they're projected as the largest U.S. market for the 2026 regular season They're the most passionate American hockey city, hands down.

Off-target rate on throws of 15 air yards in 2025: 42% - KC Concepcion 41% - Malachi Fields 33% - Denzel Boston 32% - Carnell Tate 31% - Jordyn Tyson 26% - Skyler Bell 24% - Chris Bell 22% - Makai Lemon 21% - Omar Cooper Jr. 19% - Chris Brazzell 5% - Elijah Sarratt Quality of QB play can vary so wildly at the CFB level. Worth noting, especially when it comes to outlier numbers on the high/low end.
KC Concepcion's teammate Mario Craver averaged an eye-popping 3.37 yards per route run in 2025. KCC averaged 2.56. Craver is a stud. But, also contributing to these rates, we find some important context: Off-target rate on throws of 15 air yards: 42% - KCC as target 28% - Craver as the target Both KCC and Craver pop when watching Texas A&M film. These two are awesome. Imagine the hype that KCC would have if he averaged 3.00 YPRR in 2025. Easily could have if just a few deep misses had connected. He was 158 yards away from averaging 3YPRR. I am seven games into watching his 2025 film,,, there have been so many yards left on the field.
