Every time you watch what happens in court in Besigye’s case, you feel that an LC 1 ‘court’ would have performed better. How do such judges live with themselves and participate in conversations about justice with peers!

For years, medical interns have protested to increase their monthly allowance from 750,000 UGX. Despite the Head of State’s pledge to fulfill the increment to 2,500,000 UGX, and in the face of a skyrocketing cost of living, the government has found a brilliant solution to the high cost of living; scrapping the allowance entirely instead of raising it. Apparently, when food, rent, and medical care become too expensive, doctors are expected to live on pure patriotism. With this new development, the crisis in our public health centers will only get more dire. Friends, this is no longer just an interns' battle, it is a crisis that affects every single Ugandan. We must all demand a fair treatment for our frontline health workers. #StandWithUgandanInterns #HealthSectorCrisisUG #PayOurDoctors

A gendered and tribe's line discriminatory speeches are not for this century and most especially NOT from an upright, respectful, honourable, and well natured leader. And a man of noble values and character will bow-down and apologise!
We, The Women from Karamoja are deeply offended by the derogatory statements by President of @ug_lawsociety . If the intent was to attack DPPs work, then why tag the genitalia? If the intent was an attack on the female genitalia then why bundle Karamoja? We demand an apology!

And it gets difficult every day The world is surely prepared for the thieves
The biggest incentive for corruption in this country is that life is generally easier for the corrupt and harder for those who try to be straight. People who are raised well in their homes soon realise that life in the country is not designed for them.

Making menstruation a fact of life by 2030 Thank you @nowaraga for triggering the conversation @CPARUGANDA
Menstrual health and hygiene should be approached broadly – sanitary towels, knickers, soap, access to clean water & economic empowerment. These should be packaged as one. Less than the whole package still presents challenges to women/girls ⁦@nowaraga cparuganda.com/2023/07/09/wh…

To God be the Glory May his name be praised forever more
This weekend in Moroto Catholic Diocese, we will receive our new batch of blessings. Six sons will be ordained to be priests and deacons. One of the six is from Napak and we are super excited 💃 🕺. May God bless the six as they make life commitments to serve his people in the mission of full-time ministry. 🙏 🙏.

So, for boys who don't kneel, they won't qualify for the Godly message into their lives? Me and kneeling refused to partner for a long time, but that does not mean I don't respect elders and everyone. Actually, I am having trouble with people instilling it to my daughters 😅😅
I teach my daughters to greet when they’re kneeling down. When they’re serving or addressing an elder, they kneel down. I affirm to them that the ears or the nose won’t fall off just because they knelt down to greet. I taught them that it’s such #feminine gestures that make a woman strong. The other day when they were going to school they came to say goodbye. They knelt down and I used that chance to lay hands on them, anoint them and prayed for them. They’re exceptional. Queens I encourage fathers of daughters to constantly lay hands on them and affirm a godly message into their lives.

The blood donation service desperately needs donors of black heritage - esp for people with sickle cell. They also need more on the bone marrow register as they can’t get matched for children of colour. It’s vital. blood.co.uk/why-give-blood/d…

Hon. Ssemujju Nganda: Can I borrow your pen Prof. Kamuntu? Prof Ephraim Kamuntu: Yes, sure. Hon. Ssemujju Nganda: I want to write the 23% success commitments that NRM has registered so far according to their manifesto. Ephraim Kamuntu: Okay, get your own pen. #NBSFrontline

Many thanks to all health workers out there trying to do their best to save lives and do justice despite the challenges. Those that resist temptations to exploit patients’ desperation. You’re heroes, even if we may not sing your heroic acts. #UgandaHealthExhibition

We spend £150m annually on ministers to get medical treatment abroad but Mulago, the referral hospital gets only £20m why? And you hear regime dimwits singing NRM ebeewo... Tumbavu gasiya. This is from Hoima. #UgandaHealthExhibition
