Saddens me to see that it has been 10 years since that Gita Press book by Akshaya Mukul was written, and there is still no story of Gita Press from our side. For decades, it has done a principled job, publishing high-quality books at extremely low cost while earning negligible profits. In fact, according to many, these are the best translations we have of most Hindu texts. For the largely thankless work they do, a version from our side deserves to come out.
