We let the world down. I can’t bear the thought of brave Ukraine and what this means for them. I can’t bear the thought of tens of millions of Americans choosing the barely coherent felon just so we couldn’t have a black female President. I don’t know this country anymore.

I believe Kamala Harris ran a great campaign. I believe Walz was a great running mate. I don’t think this is a self-inflicted wound. It’s not 2016, when we had a candidate with a long polarizing history. This is not on Kamala or Walz. It’s on American voters. How very sad.

Everyone: if you’ve already voted and have free time today, find a place that has long lines and go talk to people. Encourage them to stay in line. Bring water, snacks (unless prohibited by law!). Thank them for being there. It’s what I would do if I could. Every vote matters!
