🚨 The House just passed the Ukraine Support Act by a vote of 226-195 to provide military aid to Ukraine and impose tough sanctions on Russia.

Kyiv is burning. Four killed in Kyiv, six in Dnipro. Dozens injured. Homes, offices, and businesses hit. How is Russia still able to terrorize European capital night after night while Ukraine is still asking for more air defense? I have no words.

This gives a glimpse of what another night of Russian attacks looks like in Kyiv: More than 41,000 people took shelter in the metro overnight, including 4,500 children. This is the highest number recorded in recent years.

This was the inevitable result of the Administration’s approach to the war, which was based on willful ignorance of the causes of the war and which used leverage against the victim while rewarding the aggressor. Having the US out of the way is, on balance, a benefit to Ukraine.
