Youโ€™re losing 35,000 troops a month. Itโ€™s time you admitted you got beat and go home. I served 30 years in AF and Iโ€™m glad Putin is getting his ass handed to him.

The regime absolutely hates us. When it comes to Iranโ€™s regime, hope is not a strategy. Theyโ€™ll only respond to power and resolve.
Jimmy Carter says that he sees continued hope for a peaceful relationship with the Islamic Republic of Iran. This delusional line of reasoning continues to cost the American public.

lol his name is "Don Bacon" but three of the most capable cyberwarfare nations couldn't find dirt on him.
I was banned from traveling to Iran. I was sanctioned by Russia. I was hacked by China and now hacked by Russia. Putin will do anything to silence those who oppose him, but I know the difference between good and evil. You can tell a lot about a person by their enemies.

The lawmakers who have blocked the renewal of FISA Section 702 are depriving our intel community of a critical tool to fight terrorism. With millions gathering for the World Cup and America 250, this lapse is a gift to any bad actors targeting these events. This must not stand.

Discussions with members of Congress at the 2026 CNAS National Security Conference reaffirmed that, faced with geopolitical uncertainty and unprecedented threats, leaders and institutions will need to set New Rules to stay ahead. Panels featuring @SenJoniErnst, @SenRubenGallego, @RepDonBacon, @RepJasonCrow, and @RepAdamSmith demonstrated the need for bipartisan cooperation and clear Congressional leadership if the U.S. is to manage the challenges of a shifting international order. ๐Ÿ“ทErin Scott

Today Ronald Reagan would say, โ€œMr Putin, get the hell out of Ukraine.โ€ He set the example for a strong โ€œPeace through Strengthโ€ policy guided by strong values.

If we want to end gain of function research, I donโ€™t have a strong opinion. That seems like a matter of prudence. But there are no-kidding adversary nations with active biological weapons programs. Like Russia. And that deserves some real attention imv.

It is a shame to single out Ukraine which doesnโ€™t have a BSL 4 lab and is an ally and cooperates w/ the U.S. on bio security.
Today, Iโ€™m releasing never before seen intelligence revealing new evidence of past US government funding for more than 120 biolabs in over 30 countries, including Ukraine. In support of President Trumpโ€˜s Executive Order to end federal funding of dangerous gain of function research around the world, and increase transparency and accountability, ODNI will continue working with partners across the Administration to identify where these labs are, what pathogens they contain, and what โ€œresearchโ€ is being conducted. odni.gov/index.php/newsroom/โ€ฆ

โ€œThe psychological barrier in Washington is not about military feasibility. It is about fear of the consequences of Russian defeat. But the greater danger lies in fearing victory more than we fear aggression.โ€ โ€“ read my latest article in JST. HERE๐Ÿ‘‡ jstribune.com/could-ukraine-โ€ฆ

This week was Foster Youth Shadow Week on the Hill, and I appreciated the opportunity to hear from advocates working to strengthen support for youth in care. As Co-Chair of the Foster Care Caucus and a foster-to-adoptive parent, I especially enjoyed meeting our shadow, Alexander, a UC Santa Barbara student working to expand education access and long-term support. Adopting our two foster children brought so much joy to our family. @CaucusOnFY @NFYInstitute

Meanwhile Putin invades Ukraine because it wants to be a democracy and free market system aligned with the West, and delivers ultimatums to the Baltics and other neighbors.
Putin: Donโ€™t fight Russia. Never try to do so. Let us live peacefully and resolve all issues through negotiations, not ultimatums. Russia will negotiate only with regard for its national interests and long-term historical interests.
