The Continuing Resolution (CR) does nothing of the sort. It’s a temporary funding measure that Congress has used for decades, including under Biden, Obama, and every other president, to keep the government running while budget negotiations continue. It does not bypass Congress, it does not allow Trump to rule by decree, and it does not hand Musk or anyone else unchecked power. If a routine budget extension is suddenly ‘fascism,’ then every Democrat who ever voted for one, including Biden and Obama, is a Nazi too, right? Or does this nonsense only apply when it fits your political narrative? This isn’t legal analysis, it’s Democrat scare tactics at their worst. Maybe instead of weaponizing history for cheap talking points, you should pick up a history book and read about what actually happened.
