An update on the account. I sadly lost my wonderful mum suddenly on the 25th July last year. I have cared for my 96 year old dad since that time. On Wednesday morning he passed away peacefully surrounded by love.
The man who gave me my love of railways, good night, dad.

My sincere apologies once again for lack of posts recently. Sadly my father is terminally ill and my mum collapsed with a heart attack last week. Very difficult times here at B&B HQ. But I sincerely hope you are all well and enjoying the festive season. Best wishes, Vicky.

The former gate house crossing and station at Grimoldby on the old Louth to Mablethorpe loop line closed in December 1960. Nothing remains of the railway either side of the station or crossing. #LincsConnect @bordersbeeching
