Major update to the Generational Wealth chart. Based on the updated SCF data, young people have a lot more wealth than we had previously thought.

Have any Indiana folks seen good reporting on how the state just stacked the board that adopts building codes, readopted our 2007 energy code, and changed the rules so we can’t review it again for 5 years?
This happened in May and I’m just now finding out..

He was elected in 2022 and received at least 18% of his campaign funding from realtor and construction trade organizations (some with seats now listed on the Commission).

It’s a similar story in the US Midwest, where Minneapolis has been building more housing than any other large city in the region for years, and has completely abolished all zones that limited construction to single-family housing.
The result?
Rents have fallen in real terms 😃
