I just hope it feels like an original classic experience instead of rehashed lazy gacha mobile slop gone console
Final Fantasy Resonance is far beyond a 'lazy port' of Brave Exvius that's just trying to make a quick buck...
Yes, the first season of Brave Exvius serves as a basis but it's pretty much a new turn-based Final Fantasy pixel game.
- A reworked and in some instances rewritten story
- New pixel based cutscenes
- Newly written side content
- Endgame content & Superbosses
- Voice acting in both English & Japanese
- A combat system built from scratch
- Engaging progression system
- 33 new music tracks
- Reworked and plenty of new sprites
- A fully fledged world map with various ways to traverse
And that isn't even all of it!
And for those concerned about legacy Final Fantasy characters, they are not shoehorned into the story, this is part of your progression system and works very similar to the classic Job System.
I'm personally glad they didn't let all of those really cool assets go to waste.
I think this Final Fantasy will do really well and I'm pretty excited for it! šŖ
