It is also disappointing that you only “appreciate” some. Other essentials that were left out: custodians, APs, bus drivers, the list goes on and on….

@GovRonDeSantis Resource teachers that are responsible for every test score in grades K-5 and substituted in every classroom touched by COVID related absences would love to know why they do not qualify for bonuses. It is incredibly disrespectful to reward some but not all!

I think that they will grow fantastic growth mindsets #hcpsreads

A5- My goal is to focus on admiring and mirroring, though I want to work on all parts of Mindsets and Moves. So much of this reminds me of Conscious Discipline and I need to move back to that model of a classroom to create the best learning for my students! #hcpsread
Great goal to focus onto build great readers #hcpsreads
A5. My personal goal is to refine my mining skills. I feel good about admiring students, modeling and mentoring. But mining—that’s an art form that I need to focus on for next year! #hcpsread
A5: My personals goal is to grow a growth mindset by focusing on what students do well instead of deficits. In E- Learning, I will focus on what students do then serve as mentors for them #hcpsread

The charts are excellent for reflection #hcpsreads

A4) The tables can provide support in meaningful conversation, reflecting on observations and goals. It provides guiding starters, choice and the "why" based on your observations #HCPSREAD
Great to have a coach mirror the whys #hcpsread
The chart helps me to narrow down what to work on as a first step. A support coach serves a mirror, admirer, model, and a mentor. Their feedback pushes you forward #hcpsread

Yes! Zooming can feel very vulnerable.
#hcpsread A2. Being vulnerable and putting ourselves out there is the first step in developing I felt vulnerable zooming with students at the beginning of this bc many had their parents on with them and many didn’t communicate in the same way they would in-class.
A2: vulnerability opens doors for change.... when students and teachers are vulnerable they can open up to feeback and grow. ELearning has opened vulnerability #hcpsread

That’s so important that they learn to admire themselves. So many kids go in not admiring anything that they do. They build confidence by admiring. #hcpsreads

#hcpsread - It’s kind of like you have to learn to love yourself first... Students have to admire themselves before they can see the beauty and admire others.

A1: students admire other students and learn how to appreciate strategies and transfer them #hcpsread

F/u week 8 Honestly, this week I was not very successful with my zooms. I actually reflected on a lesson that I taught with my small MTSS group with Notice & Note sign posts. When I had the students break down and make the strategies, they were more successful. #hcpsread
