Honestly I think this is best for everyone including him and Texas Tech TBH. His situation would have been a distraction the whole season, would have put the team under a microscope, could have risked his team's post season opportunities, and he can focus on his own problems and trying to get into the league and have a fresh start. The number of online merchants that have started accepting agentic payments including for BTC/USDT is growing by the week. Just listened to @WalkerAmerica pod with @SullyMichaelvan and @_Checkmatey_ reflecting on chain and sentiment analysis of the current Bitcoin market. They nailed the Peak Apathy mindset and INO correctly tied a lot of it to the way AI has sucked all the mindshare and capital. But one thing overlooked in the conversation is this kind of FOMO/cognitive dissonance from Bitcoiners because it used to be the cypherpunks against the world and the way against crypto and Bitcoin. Many thought (myself included) that with the ETFs, regulatory tailwinds, growing institutional demand, mainstream banks getting in, that we’d never see sub $100k. If the entire global financial market was down bad I think Bitcoiners would be less angry, but on some level the underperformance of Bitcoin compared to other asset classes despite the tailwinds I believe is what has caused a lot of the current sentiment.
