The first prototype was unveiled by L&T in 2024 after an accelerated development cycle. Since then, the vehicle has undergone a series of developmental trials, including mobility and performance evaluations in diverse terrain conditions. Additional testing and refinements will continue before the Army begins large-scale induction. But since you know more than COAS Gen Upendra Dwivedi ,more than Head of L&T and DRDO than you are polymath. This is a Prototype and the Production will begin after Trials get completed In Two years time no formal Induction takes place but rather it’s a Complex Process Driven procedure. Even if the Trials are completed there will be further more trials.
I dont understand why cant they take the tank in current form and get a Mark 2 version with all the upgrades they want? you never know what might happen two years down the lane, Army is the key of changing goal post for indigenous products
