A friend recently asked me why I don't post on social media as much anymore. There are many reasons, but to put it simply, it just doesn't bring me joy anymore. I miss the old Twitter. I miss how relevant my 'For You' page was and I miss the safety that came with proper moderation. Before I post, I always ask myself, "Is this something I'm willing to argue about?" The older I get, the less I want to argue with strangers on the internet.

I know someone who’s been out of frontend for awhile but is trying to kinda … catch back up, in a sense, and is actively looking for a senior/staff role doing things more frontend.

They have researchers who are proposing use of AI tools and the IRB is looking to better understand the landscape and terminology around AI, so that they can be open to use of appropriate tools while keeping guard rails in place and keeping things ethical.
