This is why we do the work at @BRIDGEGOOD It is because we have seen what happens when someone is finally given a platform, a room, and a community that believes in them. So many talented people go through life feeling overlooked, underestimated, or unsure if their story matters. Our work is to remind them that it does. After wrapping our Inspire Oakland Top 20 Showcase, I kept thinking about the intention behind every designer’s work. Each piece carried a story, a person, a place, a memory, or a community that deserved to be seen and celebrated. That is what makes this work meaningful to me. It is not just about programs, events, or opportunities. It is about impact, it is about opening doors for people who deserve to walk through them.
