But something powerful happened on the other side of the guilt: Her sleep improved.
Her anxiety dropped.
Her laughter came back naturally.
She finally had energy for her own life.

Moral of the story:
It’s okay to be the villain in someone else’s story
if it means becoming the hero in your own. Peace will always cost you something usually the approval of people who benefited from your lack of boundaries.
