What most teams don’t do is adjust the reqs to make sense for the slimmed down scope…

In Q1 2019, 39% of Stripe's hiring was outside Bay Area and Seattle. Last quarter, it was 74%. I think the rate at which tech industry is going global is still under-appreciated, and that this will be a big tailwind for the world over the next decade.

Wanna be a better listener? Here’s a simple exercise to build that muscle:
1. Ask someone a question
2. Paraphrase their response back to them
3. Invite them to correct or complete the picture
This exercises hearing the spoken and the unspoken.
Rinse and repeat. 🙌🏻

One minor solution to this would be to put extremely accurate measurements on any clothing item being listed. But the problem is much larger. Hopefully we can all be a little more picky and cognizant.

🔪 Ultimately individual country pages (2nd img) were killed based on timeline, but the sketch lives on.
