Flying out this afternoon to attend meetings of the African Development Bank and African Investment Forum in Rabat, Morocco this week. On Thursday afternoon we will be lobbying the AFDB and AIF to invest in the proposed new Glassblock Bopoma dam which will be a game changer for the @CityofBulawayo.
When built the dam will secure our water needs until 2040 and it will also end the major water shortages we currently face.
Please do pray we are successful.

Yesterday temperatures in Bulawayo were above 40°C, even though l was indoors l developed sunburns, my skin is on fire today. Bulawayo is not even the warmest place in Zimbabwe, l worry about my brothers and sisters in Binga, Beitbridge, Kariba etc without sunscreen and hats 😭
